Welcome

WELCOME TO LAGO LINDO SCHOOL

25 years ago, in the fall of 1990, Lago Lindo School opened its doors for the first time.  Since that time, through a progression of teachers, administrators, and school staff, Lago Lindo has developed an excellent reputation as a school that works to ensure all students reach their potential within an environment that respects and cares for students.  We continue to work to keep our tradition of excellence.

Schools succeed to the extent that they:

  • have high expectations for their students;
  • maintain a warm, safe environment for all;
  • provide good models for expected behavior;
  • promote a TEAM approach between teachers, students and parent/guardians; and
  • maintain communication regarding expectations, behavior and progress.

Welcome to Lago Lindo!

Principal's Message

Superintendent:  Mr. D. Robertson

Trustee:  Mrs. C. Johner

Principal: Mrs. S. O’Keefe

The most important message I want to give you is that you are welcome at the school.  Everything we read about partnerships in education indicates that the more we work together, the greater the opportunities for increased student achievement and success.  We need you as volunteers and as members of both the school council and parent advisory committee.

Being a parent is a very serious responsibility.  You have given your child their first educational experiences long before they attend school.  Now that your child is in school, your role continues.  We ask you to encourage your child and to show interest in what is happening at school.  If you have a positive comment or a concern please phone and let us know.  We believe in open, honest communication and want to work with you in the interest of your child/ren.

This website is designed to provide a general overview of the organization and activities in our school.  If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Yours truly,

Sherri O'Keefe
